Join us on Friday 29th May, between 11am – 3pm for a hands on planting day. Take a tiny seedling home to nurture and help us plant a fully-bloomed “twin” in our Community Legacy Planter.
One for you, one for the Square and watch them both grow all summer long.

The Twin-Planting Experience:
Every budding gardener will take part in a two stage mission:
- The Home Twin: Plant a tiny seedling in a mini pot to take home. Put it on your windowsill, give it a splash of water and watch those very first leaves break through the soil.
- The Square Twin: Help our team plant a fully bloomed “twin” into our brand new Community Legacy Planters.
While you nurture your seedling at home, your “Square Twin” will be deepening its roots. Every time you come back to catch a watch a movie, meet friends at the play cafe, or grab a coffee, you can stop by the planters to check on your contribution.
What’s Happening on the Day:
- Hands-on Digging: We provide the soil, the seeds and the blooms
- A Greener Square: Help us transform the Square into a gallery of color that will thrive all summer long.
This event is free, inclusive, and open to all.
Let’s grow together!
T&C’S
To keep things clear for everyone attending The Twin-Bloom Project, here are the updated Terms & Conditions for the day:
Terms & Conditions
- All seedlings, mini-pots, and “Square Twin” plants are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once our stock of plants and seeds has been fully distributed or planted, the event may conclude, and the team may pack up earlier than the scheduled 3pm finish time.
- To ensure as many little gardeners as possible can take part, we kindly ask for a limit of one seedling and pot per child.
- As Brewery Square is an open air venue, this event is weather dependent. In the case of poor weather conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone the event. Please check our social media pages on the morning of the event for any updates.
- Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times during the planting activity.
- We may be taking photos and videos to share the fun on our website and social media. If you or your family would prefer not to be featured, please let a member of our team know on the day.
- While we use standard compost and child-friendly plants, we recommend washing hands after the activity and being mindful of any soil-based allergies.
