Join us as we commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, a pivotal moment in history that honors the bravery and sacrifice of the heroes who fought for freedom.

Dr Jazz: 6th June, 5pm – 7pm, Brewery Square

Join us for an evening filled with war songs reminiscent of the era, as we honor the courage and sacrifice of those who participated in the historic D-Day landings.

In addition to our commemorative event, there are several events throughout Dorchester to remember D-Day and honor the legacy of those who served:

Story Trail: 8th June, 1pm – 3pm, Dray Horse Yard & Brewery Square

An immersive theatre trail with performances across the town. Actors will retell local accounts of troops gathering in Dorchester ahead of D-Day and life in Dorchester at this time.

Armour & Embarkation: 22nd June, 3:30pm, Weymouth Avenue

Step back in time as a convoy of over 100 authentic wartime vehicles including tanks, motorcycles, jeeps, and trucks. Witness the incredible sight and sound of these legendary machines as they roll through Weymouth Avenue.
