Something spooky is happening at Brewery Square, and the whole family is invited.

From Tuesday 27 to Saturday 31 October, from 10am to 3pm, the Square turns into Brewery Scare. There are three ways to join in.

Vote for your favourite window
Take a walk around the Square and look at the Halloween window displays. Pick your favourite and cast your vote for the best one.

Meet the scarecrows
Our community scarecrows are out in the Square, and they are ready for their close-up. Snap a selfie with them, then vote for the best scarecrow. The winning entry wins £100 for a local charity or cause.

Trick or treat
Look out for the trick or treat posters in the windows of taking part businesses. Head inside to find out what is waiting, a sweet treat or a spooky surprise.

Why “Brewery Scare”?
The name was dreamed up by a young local, Penny, and we liked it so much we kept it. Thank you, Penny!
