Dorchester’s first-ever Escape Rooms, The Great Big Escape, is now open!
Diversifying Dorchester’s nightlife, The Great Big Escape gives visitors something else to do before or after dining out or visiting the Odeon Cinema at Brewery Square.
The Great Big Escape is a puzzle game for groups that sees them searching for clues and their answers to make their way out of the room.
Locked in one of two themed rooms, participants have just 60 minutes to solve the clues and make their Great Big Escape!

What is an escape room?
An escape room is a real-world, physical game featuring challenges both physically and mentally as well as puzzles to solve within a time limit. Work as a team to escape out of our themed rooms, which are brought to life with special effects, sound and props.
What age is this appropriate for?
The Great Big Escape rooms are designed for players aged 13 and older. Some of our rooms feature darkness and/or loud noises as well as potential scares. Children aged 15 and under are required to be accompanied by a paying adult to partake.
Is there anywhere to park?
Brewery Square is close to the Dorchester Market (Fairfield Long Stay Car Park) car park, this can be found using DT1 1QW in your sat nav. This car park is opposite Brewery Sqaure. To find us (DT1 1HX) exit the car park and walk towards Drummer (Bronze Horse), walk past Pizza Express on your right and Luccio’s on your left and walk towards Nandos, turn left at Nandos and walk towards Zizzi, turn right at Zizzi and walk down the stairs, you will find us at the bottom of the stairs on the right.
If you are dropping people off there are some 20 minute and 1 hour spaces in Brewery Square, head towards Dorchester South Train Station, once here follow the road into the Brewery Sqaure (Costa on your right and Woods on your left). Parking on the left hand side is 20 minutes (Opposite the Premier Inn), parking on the right is 1 hour. From here walk towards the Square keeping left, you will see Wagamama and Zizzi in front of you. We are the last unit on the left hand side.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes before your game start time, we require time to brief teams. Any teams arriving after the starting time will be classed as a “No Show”.
What happens if we are late?
If you are aware that you are going to be late then please call us ASAP on 01305 529 699.
As we run to a strict schedule, we may have to take time off your game if you are late so that there is not a knock on effect to any following bookings.
All members of the team must sign a waiver and receive the health and safety briefing by your games host prior to room entry. You will not be permitted to enter the room until this is completed.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booked time slot to allow time to complete the waiver and receive your briefing.
